Tonight is PISSING down cats and dogs.. like pretty hard as hell, and nobody wants to come out. I want to go home but I get a call from Derelick.. I suppose I can stay out for a bit.. here we go!

Bar Europa

Dead as. Avoid on rainy nights as it was just us and another small group of asians, it was the birthday boy from 2 weeks ago at flow, TT.

0/10 tonight. Blame the rain and lack of promotion.

Pavillion Hotel

Danced with C tonight. Met some Japanese girls via dance, but some white guys were constantly cracking onto them. Disgusting.

Friday @ Scruffy Murphys

As we walk in we can smell the alcohol and the stench of backpackers. It’s hot and stinky. We head downstairs where some rnb is playing. We dance and impress everybody. All the guys are ogling at C – the quality of girls down here is questionable.

We go back upstairs later and dance for a bit. C is pulled into a dance circle and impresses all. When she tries to leave she is pulled back in and can’t escape for another half hour.

Not much on my side of things, tried to dance with some girls but they dont think i’m awesome enough.

We all leave at around 2:30. An early night as I have Good Vibrations tomorrow.

The typical asian after work drinks has moved to Bar Europa as of today 5th June 2009.

Crowd: Mixed, but tonight it was full blown asian, including the DJ.

Atmosphere: Hot, crowded
Attire: Casual allowed. Hats allowed

Review
Small size: We got there around midnight and it was pretty full on the one side (the other half was desolate) – but then again it was a really small place. 40 people or so would make the place pretty busy. It was so small even the DJ had to crawl under the table to get into his miniscule booth. He had the same floorspace as a tiny one-man kebab shop operation.

It also got real hot, real quick.

I pour a drink and get busted: 2 bartenders at our double sided bar. One for each side. I stood for 10 long imnutes for my order, while standing at the front the whole time. I got impatient enough to grab a glass and jug in front of me to get the water. The bargirl immediately turns to scream at me “NO HANDLING OF THE GLASSES. NO!”. She grabbed my glass and jug, and put it back. The other bargirl showed me sympathy and got me a glass of water immediately.

Coda:
It was a bar anyway, so theres not much to be expected in terms of dancing. Friends were so tired. They were knacked from the 3 hour karaoke we came out of.We left at closing time at 2am.

Nice cosy place for drinks but probably not for a dance.
